This work was written for Las Vegas performing giants “Santa Fe and the Fat City Horns.” I was asked by trombonist Nathan Tanouye (who plays with the Fat City Horns) to write a piece for them, so this is what I came up with. I was inspired by Jerry Hey’s horn writing so I wanted to emulate that with my own take on writing for horns. Enjoy Phat Phunk !
